Ingredients:
Can of Chickpeas
Lemon juice of one lemon
1/4 quarter cup of tahini sauce
2 cloves of garlic
Four ice cubes
Salt to taste
Three tablespoons of olive oil and more for garnish
Sumac for garnish
Instructions:
Soak the chickpeas in water for a few minutes, then rub it with your hands to remove the skin from the chickpeas. (the skin must be removed because it will make the hummus bitter).
The chickpeas that are free from the skin are placed in a mixer or food processor.
Add the tahini, oil, garlic and lemon juice to the mixer and salt and mix well for at least 4 minutes or until it becomes smooth.
After the chickpeas become smooth, add the ice cubes while continuing to mix one after the other. (Ice cubes will keep chickpeas cool)
Chickpeas can be served and garnished with sumac and olive oil, or stored in the refrigerator before serving.
