Alfredo Sauce

this recipe is delicious and easy to make with simple ingredients, you can use as a base to any pasta you prefer specially fettuccine



 

Ingredients:

  • 1 and a 1/4 cup of milk

  • Mushroom can or fresh

  • 2 table spoons of butter

  • 2 table spoons of flour

  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella

  • Dried Oregano

  • Crushed garlic

  • Chopped onion

  • Salt and black papper

  • Half a cube of vegetable stock (optional)

  • Desired pasta




Instructions


  • Prepare the pasta as instructed in the box (note do not add oil to the boiling water and leave some of the pasta water after cooking it, you might need it)

  • In a hot pan add olive oil and cook the mushrooms make sure they are nicely cooked to get the full flavor of the mushrooms.

  • Add the onions and garlic then you can add the oregano, salt, black pepper and the vegetable cube (optional).

  • After cooking all the ingredients you can add the butter and flour and keep mixing for a minute to cook the flour then you can add the milk.

  • Make sure to cook the sauce until it is reduced after that turn off the heat and add the mozzarella.

  • Make sure that the cheese is melted

  • Add the pasta to the sauce and serve.

  • If the sauce is still dry you can still you can add the pasta water.
