Cookies made from cake mix

These cookies are chewy gooey and the best of all is that it is easy to make with store bought cake mix. This recipe is so versatile because you can change the cookie dough by changing the cake mix such as vanilla, chocolate or even red velvet cake or changing the added ingredients like chocolate chip, marshmallows, Oreo chunks or nuts. you can be as creative as you want.

My favorite is double chocolate cookie cake which I will share below.

Ingredients:

• Chocolate cake mix

• 100 grams of room temperature butter

• 2 eggs

• 3/4 of a cup of chocolate chip

Instructions:

• Mix the cake mix with butter and eggs until it is well cooperated them mix in the chocolate chip

• leave the batter to chill in the fridge for 30 minutes

• start the oven at 180 C or 350 F

• make cookie balls, you can use an ice cream scoop, each ball consist of approximately 2 table spoons.

• In a baking try lined with a baking sheet but the cookie balls with in distance between each other to prevent them from sticking. you can use a silicon baking sheet instead of baking sheet.

• bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

• let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Ice cream cookie sandwich:

• you can use the cookies you just made or use a more round shaped cookie by baking the dough in a muffin silicon mold to make a more round shaped cookie.

• use two cookies and put an ice cream scoop between two cookies and press lightly and serve immediately.
