according to the list on YouTube there are old make trends that will disappear in 2020
1 Lash extensions
First of all lash extensions are expensive, and they are also damaging to real lashes and for that we wont be sad if the lash extensions will be out this season. you can use good quality
2 Instabrows
To be clear we did learn a lot from the makeup tutorial and eyebrows on Instagram in the last few years although many take a long time and probably 6 steps to achieve this look. But makeup trends are going into a new direction which is a more natural shinny look.
Instead of doing 6 steps this year the eyebrow trend will be focusing on grooming the eyebrows more regularly for easy maintenance. The eyebrow products will be limited to a gel or brush to keep the brows neat and shadow powder to fill the gaps.
3 Bye - Bye thick foundation
As I said the new trend this year is going towards a more shinny and glowing natural look. That is because people are paying more attention on their skin care. So thick foundation is out but what if you still want to cover up? the answer is use tainted creme like cc cream or or bb cream if it is not enough use half coverage foundation and mix it with oil creams for moisturizing.
4 Matte lips are gone ! almost
unfortunately the matte lipstick will be replaced with shinny lip gloss or satin color. although experts don't say that matte lipstick will be gone completely but looks will be more focused of the shine from the lip gloss.
If you are a teen in the 2000s you probably remember the era of the lip gloss sensation.
Lip liner
A lot of fans followed the Kyle Jenner trend to of lip lining to increase the lips size. However, this look is pretty exaggerating and experts say to make lips look bigger put a gloss in the middle of the lip and also use a counselor around the lip line to enhance the lip color and make it pop.
6 Contour or highlight which is staying?
The Contour and highlight this year will not completely disappear but the way of application will change and it wont be with the same exaggeration as before. The contour will be limited to thin lines that are it will be well blended in the skin. We will hold on to our highlight this year and the best way to achieve the shinny look is to use a CC cream and use a highlight in the spots where light reach the skin. and remember less is more.
